Organization Overview and Culture
Sacred Land Photography's Artist Statement - I am an artist on a mission, traveling as a seeker, on a pilgrimage for expressions of the sacred, tracking remnants of alignment and clues to ancient wisdom. As a photographer, I create images out of phantoms in the corner of my eye, working ceremonially, intuitively, determinedly, and decisively to communicate the beauty and power and presence of place.
Career Path to Top
To become a successful photographer, one really only needs to take good photos, and no school really teaches that.
However, if you wanted to major in photography at a fine arts school, then that requires great grades to get into the most competitive schools such as the Rhode Island School of Design.
How My Internship Fits/Does Not Fit My Future
I do plan to either Major or Minor in photography wherever it is that I go to college, and continue it throughout the entire course of my life.
Advice to New Interns
Have a true love for photography and never be bored of taking new photos.
